HELP BUILD A FRANCISCAN FRIARY ON GUAM!
The Capuchins have been living on Guam for over 100 years, since 1901.
In 2002, a powerful typhoon destroyed our friary on Guam.
We are now building a new one and we need the help of good people like you!
A PLACE OF PRAYER
The Chapel of the New Friary will be open to all people seeking the Lord in prayer and in the sacraments. There will be daily Mass, prayer and weekly confessions. The Chapel will be open for people to come and pray in its quiet, Franciscan atmosphere. Friars will be available for individual counseling and spiritual sharing.
A HOME FOR THE FRIARS
Our friars, especially the young ones needing special years of training, and the old or sickly ones needing a place of rest, will live here. All the friars will use the friary regularly for prayer, for gatherings, retreats and meetings.
A SPIRITUAL HOME FOR ALL PEOPLE
Any church group needing a place for meetings or prayer can use the New Friary. Support groups for those recovering from addicitions, or those struggling with divorce, can also use the New Friary for meetings. Bible Classes, retreats, religious courses can all be held here.
